Answering Those Everyday Questions

What’s new in radio?

OK, this is new to us, all of us in the office in fact, but far from new.

We’d like to introduce you to Last.fm which we discovered after KC lavished a crazy amount of money on his own Christmas present and bought an internet radio. Snazzy little sweety it is too.

With it came a trial subscription to Last.fm.

We’re not quite sure how it differs from Spotify, but we love it anyway.

You can register for free, but being the profligate young bohemians we like to think of ourselves as we say cost as no bound and committed a scary £3 a month to the subscription service that means we can listen on KC’s swank new radio wherever that happens to be.

You can listen to anything, pretty much.

Just call up your artist, like it, stash it, then come back to it whenever you want. But better than that, it’ll then create a seemingly infinite playlist for you based on the tracks you’ve listened to so far.

Genius!

We’re a happy office too as BB offered up the Gaga, KC went moody with Tom Waits, Tracey created a challenge with Oasis (rest of the office didn’t approve despite being in Manchester) and when Sean is back he’ll no doubt come up with some desperately cool alternative trance from a country we have never heard of.

Last.fm. Try it and see.
